Who Am I?
My name is David Frosdick. That's me on the left.
I've been following Internet Marketing for about 8 years and over the last 2 years I've have been lucky enough to work with some big players. I have a web site why do I need a blog?
Excellent! You have a site online but how often is it updated? A blog can be updated easily form the control panel and you can also assign members of staff to update certain areas. A blog will allow your customers to comment on the articles you post. You can provide your customers with news update and encourage them to interact with your business.
Do I need to know HTML?
No. WordPress use a WYSIWYG Editor so you can type and edit font like typing a document. A blog is perfect for you to learn HTML and slowly build some confidence. If you run a web business there's no harm in learning a little HTML.
Do I need hosting?
Yes, I use HostGator in these videos but any host which has WordPress as a one click install option.
Do I need a domain name?
Yes (It doesn't have to be your main site but something live you can test on).
What version of WordPress do I need?
The guide shows you how to develop a blog using the most recent version 2.9.2 but I also cover plugins, promotion and SEO tips to help any blogger.
